So many people are seeking advice on effective changes for their careers or jobs. The Tapestry’s interactive colorful form encourages individuals to review their lives and analyze important prior transitions. When completed, the “Future activities and attachments” column will indicate individual values. The colored rectangles below the Tapestry’s matrix encourages the individual to record past jobs and careers as well as involvement with hobbies and sports.  Taken together, these data can provide directions for the individual to pursue, perhaps with guidance from the career counselor. The Tapestry is an effective instrument to use with individuals as well as groups. The Leader’s Guide provides instructions for completing the Tapestry, development and theoretical grounding, suggestions for use;  case studies offer suggestions for counseling.
