The Inspiration Behind the Tapestry

The Self-Discovery Tapestry, a life-review instrument, was developed to assist individuals in expressing their lives as simply and independently as possible. It began as an actual weaving in yarn that was translated onto paper. The Tapestry was developed and validated over an 8 year period and refined as the basis for Dr. Phyllis Meltzer’s doctoral research. More than 5,000 participants have completed the Tapestry and most "discovered" their lives were colorful and filled with accomplishments and meaning.
